The Onam memoirs...

  • A breath of fresh air...
  • Some memorable moments…
  • Quite a few laughs…
  • Catching up with relatives…
  • Walk through the lush green paddy fields…
  • Endless photo sessions…
  • Finger-licking-good sadhya with an awesome payasam…
  • Fun with cousins…
  • A drive through Gods own country…
  • Rain lashing the windshield…
  • A train journey that touched my life…
  • Some addition to my wardrobe…
  • A surprise meeting with a classmate…
  • Promises to keep in touch…
  • Some driving lessons…

That was what was in store for Onam this time… Was like a warm refreshing breeze…
But now it’s back to the cold... Life is frozen again…

Sound absolutely wonderful! :) Esp the driving in the rains part!

Must have been awesome with the rains and the greenery around!

Am all J, considering your native place is in God's own country!

@nautankey, thanks for the wishes! and yes! it was a cool one this time.. was really a welcome break from the daily office routine.. then again, maybe its the change in my attitude which allowed me to see the beauty around.. it was all there right from my childhood.. but i never stopped to notice.. :-)
@sindhu, i really looooove rains! and dont be so J about Gods own country.. on one side, mother nature has really blessed it, on the other, the people have been ruining it! but in any case, it does feel so fresh and rejuvenating to be in touch with nature.. :-) so yes, maybe there is a slight reason to be jealous after all.. :-)
